Labour Day long weekend this weekend for us New South Welshpeople. Feeling a bit lethargic, as if I am fighting off a bug -- so it will be good to have an extra long weekend. May need to catch up on sleep too: I went to bed just after 7pm last night as I was feeling poorly, then woke up at 1am. Think I managed half-an-hour sleep somewhere between then and 6:30am: but feeling the effects now at 2:50pm.
Will see A Perfect Day Saturday evening and One Hundred Nails Monday evening as part of the 2009 Italian Film Festival. I saw One Hundred Nails several years back, and with it showing as part of a 10 Year Anniversary Retrospective, I thought I'd see it again as I found it it intriguing: looking at issues such as friendship and belonging -- just hope it doesn't hit too hard as such things are on my mind of late.
A tough day at work mentally and emotionally: putting it down to lack of sleep mostly. May leave a bit earlier today and get some rest at home.
