The Doctor Who episode I missed last week, but thanks to the ABC's wonderful iView service [I imagine, similar to the BBC's, it can only be watched by people in Oz: but I may be wrong], I caught up with it. Wow. What a psychological thriller! A very different episode, and one in which I shivered and wondered throughout... Tonight, based on the preview, sees Rose return: looking forward to that -- though it appears the Doctor is dead: not sure what I'll make of all this or how it will all work out [I've avoided reading about these episodes]. On iView, our national broadcaster has done well: lots of programmes from news and current affairs to comedies, dramas and documentaries. A great list, and I hope it continues: and the available content continues to expand.
A rainy day today: a bit of wind too. Much cooler than yesterday.
And a wonderful celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross at our parish; beautiful hymns throughout Matins and the Divine Liturgy, and I am still chanting Before Your Cross, we bow down in worship, O Master; and Your holy Resurrection we praise and glorify!.
A blessed Feast to all.
