Forgot to write earlier: I saw a very entertaining film Sunday night as part of the 16th Greek Film Festival.
Elias of the 16th Precint is a remake of a movie from 1959 which follows three friends who all face large debts. They collectively decide the only way to get themselves out of this is to steal money from one of their bosses who is a pawnbroker. They take different roles, with Elias disguising himself as a policeman. As may be expected: things do not go to plan -- Elias, in police uniform, is called in by a woman to a house investigate a robbery. And things go downhill and in all directions from there. A very enjoyable movie, with lots of laugh-out-loud moments.
The Italian Film Festival starts in a week or so in Sydney; hoping to catch one or two movies there.
