In what has been a tough week mentally [lots of work], emotionally [ups and downs] and physically [eye and sinus troubles], today was a definite bright spot: thanks and praise be to God.
Some great conversations with colleagues; a productive day at work; feeling better than I had for a few days; the sun shining, and me taking advantage of it by leaving the office for 20 or so minutes to go to the nearby café for a coffee and cake and reading a book I've started, Archimandrite Sophrony's His Life Is Mine.
Encouragement and inspiration to continue to plough on: and a great blessing much needed and appreciated. Thanks be to God.
