A rough week mentally, but thanks be to God I have arrived at the weekend. And thanks be to God for a great colleague in particular who helped me through.
Tomorrow, my youngest niece Eden turns 1! 1!!! I cannot believe it. I bought her some clothes [dress, shirt, trousers, PJs, socks] and a toy which involves hitting various things with a hammer. Haven't put a photo up for a while: may be time.
I have my second English Conversation Class tomorrow: I've prepared some simple worksheets on personal pronouns and prepositions: we'll see where the discussion goes and where the students [assuming they come back! :) ] want to go too. Listening last week there were a few mistakes with personal pronouns and some prepositions of time and place, so I though that may help. Sadly, given the week I had, my nerves came back with avengence, but thanks be to God I am calmer now.
Saw my Financial Planner today who had finalised my plan, full of great and implementable advice on superannuation, loan repayments and income protection. I'll start to look at putting these into action. I found out I have income protection [for 2 years] at work, when I returned there and was speaking to my managers about my visit: I'd forgotten that somehow. It was great to get some advice on how some simple cutbacks on expenses and extra repayments on loans [car and personal] can get them paid off so much quicker, as well as looking at other superannuation schemes which may work out better for me. Glad I made the appointment all those weeks back.
Looking forward to heading to church and gaining some sustenance and peace there. Also want to drop by Sea Sweet, a Lebanese pastry shop in Parramatta. Recommended to me by a work colleague many weeks [months?] back, he reminded me of it again yesterday. I do have a soft spot for sweets, and Middle Eastern sweets in particular.
