Continued prayers for all those affected by the Victorian train crash: 11 people now dead. Lord, have mercy.
A bit too optimistic for work back on Tuesday: though the new website is now up and running, after a few dramas today -- and some very unhelpful, and some very helpful, support people. Thanks be to God, this project may finally be drawing to a close: and just in time to preserve my sanity.
On Wednesday morning I had breakfast with my priest which was a blessing: I did need the time away from work and it, as always, is a joy to speak with him -- specially during a stressful week. He truly is a gift to our parish. Please remember him in your prayers.
I look forward to catching up with all of your news: and I'm especially looking forward to the long weekend (Queen's Birthday). On Saturday I'll be heading up to Newcastle to see and hear a friend's choir from Canberra sing at the Anglican Cathedral on Sunday, and listen to said friend's talk on Cathedral Music Saturday night. On Monday I'll head back to Sin City and have lunch with the couple whose wedding I went to several weeks back -- they have just returned from their honeymoon in New York. Bring on the weekend.
