Another Good Evening

A good lecture, and some great presentations on what people are researching, but if you may indulge me in a moment of showing off, as with my first assessment for Project Management last semester, I received 100%, 35/35, for my first assessment for Advanced Project Management: I was most pleased. It was a Management Report analysing why a particular project failed and what recommendations should be put in place to prevent a similar failure again.

I also found out I received 5/5 for my written presentation summary [I do not know my presentation mark; I could ask, but I keep forgetting...], so out of 40% of the subject mark so far I am sitting on 40%. So even if I stuff up completely from here on, I only need 10 more marks out of a possible 60 to scrape through: but I hope I do a bit better than that.

Also, I have just booked a holiday to visit my friend, and another friend who is there currently, in San Jose, California in December. As money is always something I try and watch, I managed to save around $600- by missing Christmas this year; due to the International Date Line and other time-related things, I will leave the US on December 24 and arrive in Australia, by way of New Zealand, on the 26th. No doubt not a popular time, hence the cost saving. I will be sad to miss our parish's Nativity Liturgy, and the other associated services, [but I can get to an Old Calendar parish in early January I pray], but I am greatly looking forward to seeing my friends again, as well as spending some time away from work and its current stresses.
