Work continues to be very busy...though light is appearing on the horizon, thanks be to God.
Interesting weather this morning, between 3am and 6am:
A weather phenomenom turned some Sydney suburbs into hotter spots in minutes this morning. The temperature suddenly shot up 5.3 degrees in 13 minutes at Bankstown Airport and 5 degrees in 17 minutes at Campbelltown, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
A similar rapid increase in temperature was recorded in several other suburbs in the south-west.
The cause was an "inversion" effect - where the temperature in the atmosphere is warmer than on the ground - led to this morning's rapid warming.
