What a great movie. Fantastic action, an interesting and entertaining storyline, and great -- and humorous -- well-rounded characters. And it was fun just to sit back and enjoy it all. Regarding the Autobots, a great job done in terms of special effects: and in terms of their personalities, I can but agree with what Margaret and David, from At The Movies said in their review:

MARGARET: And the machines develop real personalities.

DAVID: Personalities as well, they do, yes.

MARGARET: I tell you, they've got more personality than some real characters in some films we've seen lately.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is released today -- I hope to see it soon. I also want to see the new Australian movie, dealing with the themes of asylum seekers and "boat people", a very relevant political issue here(*), and I'm sure elsewhere, Lucky Miles, which will be in general release soon. (*)and one in which I believe our Government is playing to the, unfortunate, latent racism and fears of others and the unknown in general Australian society and whipping up fear in order for political gain -- ; Lord, have mercy, and forgive us.
