As someone who loves travelling, and who would dearly love to get to Turkey, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe one day, among other destinations, I commend to you the recent posts from the blog Notes from a Common-place Book. John has recently returned from a journey from East Texas to New York City, then on to Istanbul, Cappadocia to the and the Republic of Georgia. John provides many, many photos and vivid descriptions, especially of churches and other religious sites he has come across. I know have a great feeling of wanderlust.
