My international career on the singing stage, that is.

We had a good class last night: lots of practice, and plenty of rounds of an Americn folk arrangement of Amazing Grace. I am a tenor apparently. Good fun. However, I am struggling to hit the right notes, and to remember them. even when they are given to me. I'm not giving up on the class, I do enjoy it; I think however, at least at the moment, the church choir is not for me. I do not want to be out of tune, especially in such a ministry, and currently, that is what I am. I'm going to have a talk to our teacher next week.
I'm not upset. Perhaps a bit disappointed, as one often is when they discover something they are not good at. But, as they say, better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all -- it's my belief you get out there and see what happens. And there are plenty of other ministries, and I know one has my name on it: it's just a matter of finding it!
