This semester at least...most likely I will move to a Masters programme next semester. [On study, congratulations to Philippa who graduates this weekend.]
Yesterday was my last lecture for IT Governance, and with a look at the areas of Ethics, Corporate Regulations and Communication: a great end to a subject on which my views changed rather dramatically: at first not understanding it or its applicability, and now seeing where it fits in and gaining many useful ideas I can take back to my job. My mark for the final assessment was a Credit, which I was content with -- the inner perfectionist screamed somewhat, but a Credit is good. So it should be a Credit for this subject as a whole, around 71%. A drop from previous subjects, which gave my ego a hit, but the ego needs to be kept in line lest it turn into a monster.
It was a long day of study: 9am to 6pm, once several presentations were added in to the mix. At lunch I ducked down the road to Essen, a German restaurant. I was the only one there, so I assume Saturday lunches aren't a busy time for them. The food [veal schnitzel -- what else? -- with a creamy mushroom sauce [Jaeger Schnitzel], with potato roesti and cabbage salad] was superb, and the waitress charming and helpful. Washed down with a Gewurztraminer it was a pleasant lunch indeed. While eating I read an article our presenter for The Life of Moses reading course wrote: more on that another day.
A long Saturday, but at least, given I had to get up early to head to the city, I got to witness a rather beautiful sunrise. God's Creation is wondrous indeed!
