I was a big fan of Belinda Carlisle in the late 80s and 90s...I was just a bit too young to remember her from her Go Go's days. Heaven is a Place on Earth, Summer Rain, La Luna, Live Your Life Be Free, and many more, are songs I daresay I still enjoy: good, fun songs.

I saw a new album, a French-langauge one, of hers out in the music shop on the weekend: Voila. Despite my level of French being several rungs below terrible, I am enjoying it: a very different sound and a very entertaining and addictive one. She has taken 11 classic songs and recorded them with a modern feel. It's on constant play on my car CD player.
