The fact I have a week to go before the major assessment and a presentation are due has meant panic has set in, releasing all the creative juices [or "rambling and blabbering juices" perhaps] so I am making quite a bit of progress on these assessments. Rather dull, but with tinges of semi-interestingness, so I can keep going.
Work has been rather busy, and a few issues [people rather than technical: give me the latter any day] have meant it has been a bit more stressful than it otherwise should have been. But you take the good with the bad. And the good definitely outweighs the bad, even if it takes a few whinges and moans, and a good night's sleep, to see that in the clear light of day.
Yet there is a feeling, amid the busy-ness, of something missing: the Church services. After the intensity of Holy Week services, it seems an eternity since I was last at Church, when in fact it was Sunday evening. I am looking forward to this weekend's services, and our next cooking class this afternoon at which we will make Prosphora [the bread used for consecration in the Eucharist].
A blessed weekend and week to all.
