We've had quite a lot of it: however, we need it. Though probably not in the force we had yesterday. The storm that swept through was about 400 kilometres across! Some photos of soaking Sydney. Sadly, one man died after an awning he was under collapsed. May God comfort his friends and family. And prayers for all those whose property was damaged by flash flooding.
On happier matters -- well it gave us a laugh -- a colleague of 19 was by the window, and she had just opened it to watch the rain. All of a sudden, a huge, massive, enormous, lightning strike [the forked-style where you can see it for a few seconds] hit not too far away...the shriek that emanated from her travelled the length and breadth of the building. She was fine after a minute or so.
Several days before, we had a wondrous storm sweep through: huge, dark clouds. I do love this weather: from the safety of indoors. Some photos here.
It will be a wet start to summer: if not a wet summer throughout.
