Thanks be to God: our new priest, Fr Antonio, together with his wife Presbytera Clare, served his First Divine Liturgy today as priest of our parish, Saints Michael and Gabriel. It is a great pleasure to have them with us, and I truly do believe under Father's guidance our parish will continue to grow spiritually -- and, God willing, numerically.

For those interested in the St Nicholas Church School play, here are some photos.

No photos unfortunately from when I took my niece to Central Gardens at Merrylands yesterday; I dropped my camera several weeks back and the lens broke. It is being repaired. Skye had a great time: there were ducks, a pelican, kangaroos, wallabies, emus, galahs, cockatoos and cockatiels. And she loved them all. She refused to believe me that two fountains in the pond were fountains: "No, uncle Ian. They are whales!" she cried. And when we got back home: "Mummy...I saw whales!" She also played on the playground and ran around a bit. It truly is a lovely park and picnic/bbq area -- and only 15 minutes drive from where I live.
