On the lone subject I am doing this semester. Titled "Information Technology Governance", when anyone asked what it was about I could only reply, "Governing IT". Hardly informative, but the first two weeks did not really clear it up for me. If anything, it raised more questions.
Last night, however, the light dawned. The different pieces of the jigsaw seemed to click into place and I gained some understanding of what this all means -- basically who makes decisions, how, under what circumstances: and who is ultimately responsible? At least that is what I think. I may be proved wrong.
The scheduling for this subject is also very odd: after 3 weeks of lectures we have 3 weeks break. Then one lecture. Then two weeks break. Then a few more Monday lectures; and a full Friday one; and two Saturdays. I'm not complaining...if I were a good student I would say it is more time to do assessments; as I am a lazy one I will say it's less driving to the city and getting home late on Mondays.
