Last day [half-day] of work before Christmas; a colleague has brought in some Cola de mono [a Chilean drink with some delicious ingredients] her mother made, chocolates are being consumed and the general atmosphere is very relaxed.
Santa came a bit early for me this year: I am picking up my new (black) Golf FSI this afternoon. I'm rather excited. My current car [Mitsubish Lancer coupe] will go to my dad as his car is approaching the end of its life.
Christmas Day will be a wonderful affair: particularly as Skye now has more of an idea about Christmas and its goings-on. Uncle Ian has gone a bit crazy with presents [6], but that is surely one of the benefits of being an uncle.
Christ is born; glorify Him!
Christ comes from heaven; go to meet Him!
Christ is on earth; be exalted!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
And praise Him in gladness, O people, for He has been glorified!
Thank you to all of you out there who have been a great support to me this year. It got off to a very shaky start, but God is gracious and loving, and through you all He provided me with a great deal of comfort and support. I wish you all, and your families, friends and loved ones, a blessed and joyous Christmas season, and may God continue to bless, guide and sustain you in 2008.
