To Nila[anthi] and Andrew, married yesterday.

A wonderful afternoon and evening. They were married at Our Lady of Lourdes, Baulkham Hills, and the reception was at the beautiful and majestic Curzon Hall.

I have known Nila since 2000, through a friend, and I met Andrew when I visited London last month. They met in London [Nila being over there to work], and are truly one of those couples who seem made for each other. It is a true joy to see Nila so happy, and to know she has found someone as wonderful as Andrew. May God grant them many, many years!

The Nuptial Mass was beautiful, and the sermon [on, oddly enough(!), love -- but a practical love and the love that comes from marriage] was one of the best I have heard. Nila looked stunningly beautiful, as did her sisters as bridesmaid; and the men were very dapper. The reception at Curzon Hall was simply spectacular: the setting, the food and the dancing. It was also great to meet new people as well as catch up with old friends. The speeches were warm and heartfelt, and showed the love not only Andrew and Nila have, but the love of both their families and their friends. It was truly a blessed and joyous occasion.
