The Graduate Certificate programme I have just found out I have been accepted into. After discussions at my appraisal last year, I was asked if I thought I wanted to look into moving away from programming/general support and into the Project Management area. I am not 100% sure I do, but I am willing to give anything a go. Add to the mix the fact I do like studying, and it was not that hard a decision to proceed.

The academic year starts at the beginning of the year here. We have Semester 1 from late February/March to June and then Semester 2 from late July/August to November, with exams after each semester. There are also summer and winter schools.

I started this Wiblog as I began my TESOL Teaching course: I did greatly enjoy it, but teaching [currently, given my various anxieties] is not for me. Though I did learn many useful skills, and I am now addicted to reading about linguistics! I am looking forward to returning to study, and it will be interesting to return to UTS [University of Technology, Sydney], which is where I did my undergraduate degree [1995-98, with 97 being a 'work experience' year] -- Bachelor of Science in Computing Science. Back then, we were in what one would imagine a Computing Building to be: dark, drab, old. This is where Computing is now. Swish.
