Well, I had the interview with HR about the incident. All seemed to go well.
I did bring up my e-mail to the GM; HR looked straight into it which I am thankful for -- they had not heard anything about it. I am glad they are following it up.
After the incident interview, we also had a chat about my feelings and my job. Strangely enough, I was rather honest than I might otherwise be: I did say I have had thoughts of leaving due to a number of issues. I even told my manager later in the day when an issue I do not think is being handled satisfactorily was, to my mind, not being addressed. I did not mean it as some sort of threat, and can but hope it didn't come across that way: but I am, sadly -- for I do, in general, love my work and particularly those I work with, concerned about certain issues. And I think it best for all to see how serious I view them: I do not want to be left picking up the pieces of a preventable, or at least one whose impact can be minimised, disaster -- as I was with one major issue due to decisions relating to my work being taken without my input. I do not like saying such things, but I did feel I had no choice.
