The end of daylight savings here in NSW has been pushed back one week until next week. And, I will say its effects on the IT systems here puts Y2K into the shade.
Perhaps as we were (over?-)prepared for Y2K, and this, supposedly minor, issue, didn't appear to make the headlines. Who knows. But, despite me installing patches on systems owned by us, and organising patches on systems supported externally, the times are all out -- most an hour ahead as you may expect, but some are an hour behind which is rather odd. And one system has decided we are on GMT time, rather than Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- which means its yesterday currently. A fun day ahead.
