A wonderful Wibmeet with Deeleea, Semele and Yay at the Wockbar at Dee Why.
Firstly: what a location. Up on a first floor balcony looking over the beach. Amazing.
Secondly: the food. Wondrous. Truly wondrous. As was Semele's Iced Chocolate, which turned out to be warm chocolate with ice cubes. Interesting.
Lastly, and definitely not least: the wondrous company. While Miss Lisa -- a constant Sydney Wibmeet attender -- was greatly missed, but we did have a wonderful time discussing all manner of topics, as Deeleea wrote. Unfortunately my fortune went through the wash with the shirt -- though I do recall something about opportunity being around the corner. We truly do have a wonderful group of Sydney wibloggers, and I do feel so blessed to have these internet relationships form into real-life friendships [as Tractor Girl has recently blogged]. It is indeed a blessing, and a joy, to know these wonderful friends. Thanks and praise be to God.
The feasting did not finish after lunch. Semele's sister very kindly offered dinner, which I accepted: beautiful ravioli and a wondrous Sara Lee dessert with homemade [by Semele] custard. I also got to meet Semele's oh-so-cute nephew. Unfortunately I had to leave almost straight after dinner as I was so tired after a full day, and a full week of services: I hit the pillow as soon as I got home and didn't stir until 7:15 the next morning.
