Petrichor

A refreshing thunderstorm and very heavy rains; and I again get to use my favourite word to desribe the beautiful smell that accompanies it -- petrichor.

The rains are needed, and it is a joy to hear them fall: washing away dirt and other things, and cleansing the earth. Thanks and praise be to God.

Slightly busy with assignments [well, perhaps 'busy avoiding assignments' is more correct], so enjoy the peace and quiet while you can, before I return rambling on again. I also have set up my new PC -- with 24" screen. I think I need to sit at the other side of the room until I get used to it: a jump from 15" [and 17" at work]. It is also interesting to see all the new slots and interfaces PCs, and even monitors, now come with. I may work in IT, but I must say my interest in the area generally stops at 5pm. And given I look after work PCs, they tend not to be as multimedia enhanced as the home ones.

I hope and pray you are all well. God bless.
