The Germans have left for Cairns. It was sad saying Auf Wiedersehen last night -- it was wonderful having them here, and wonderful for me to see parts of Sydney I don't often see.
We went to the Blue Mountains on Sunday, which just happened to be the coldest and windiest day here for quite some time! There was plenty of snow and ice up in the mountains, and the wind was bitterly cold. We took a cave tour at Jenolan Caves, which they enjoyed greatly, and then froze as we took pictures of us in front of the Three Sisters. Yesterday they did their souvenir shopping, plotted suggested paths for their drive up north, and ate quite a bit at a friend's place, and then ate some more at a restaurant in Double Bay.
I hope I can travel to Germany again soon and meet up with them again. They are wonderful, fun-loving people, and all trips are filled with a lot of fun and laughter.
