Pizza

After BodyJam [I do like the new routine: a lot of flair; a lot of grand, sweeping movements, and a lot of fun] it was to a friend's place to make some pizza...from scratch [well, we had the base: we added toppings and cooked the thing].

Great fun: not only the deciding what to put on, but the catching up with friends, people I hadn't seen for a while, and some new people. Most of the people there, in fact I think all bar me, were from Cabramatta Anglican, a church I attended from around 1998 to 2002. I've kept in touch with some from there, though, sadly, it is getting less regular, but several I hadn't seen for a long time so it was great to hear what has been happening in their lives -- as well as just seeing them again. It was also good to meet some new people: one guy in particular I spoke to about all manner of topics for a while.

I also saw my friends' baby son, recently born, and another friends' daughter, just over one year. She seemed to not be too distrustful of me -- until I decided to "dance" [and I do use that term loosley]: the tears were then turned on. Oops.

The pizzas actually turned out rather well -- my favourite being a garlic pizza with a whole lot of garlic. Only three or four of us [there were 10 or so] initially wanted it, but when it was ready it appeared to be the most popular. I do love my garlic: and it appears a lot of people do to.

A very pleasant evening indeed.

Last night was the penultimate [I do love that word!] Project Management lecture for uni: hard to believe an entire semester has flown by. The final, group, assignment is due next Thursday so I will be rather busy I imagine completing my section over the weekend [though I will, of course, find time for Eurovision and the Holroyd Musical and Dramatic Society's production of Les Miserables]. There will be a palpable sense of relief when it is handed in.
