A bad start to the week

It's 8.30am Monday morning and so far:

I taped the wrong channel last night so I missed the third episode of Lost Worlds -- The Adventure of English: a fascinating look at the history of the English language
I left my lunch at home
I left my security card at home
I realised, while driving to work, I haven't taken my anti-depressants for four days. I hope that hasn't had too severe an impact on the chemicals inside me

Oh well! Onwards and upwards, I hope!

I had a wonderful dinner last night at a friend of a friend's place. I went to fix her computer, but there was a minor hiccup when her keyboard no longer was recognised, and when uninstalling Norton AntiVirus, some key files were removed and so Windows doesn't want to work anymore. Argh! And since the keyboard isn't recognised, we couldn't re-install. Computers: gah! This week will hold more computer fun which she gets a new keyboard and the re-installation begins.

She cooked a wondrous dinner of dijon chicken, roast potatoes, and beans and carrots. Yum! Yum! Yum! Dessert was some wonderfully sweet mangoes. A very civilised evening and plenty of interesting discussion. The weekend did start so well...
