The meeting of Deeleea, Yay and myself happened!
It was wonderful to meet Deeleea and Yay: they are two truly fantastic people! I did a scout of the restaurant looking for two women but was unsuccessful, so I walked back to the front of the restaurant, passing a woman on the way. I wondered, but didn't ask. When I got to the front of restaurant, one of the waiters asked if I was meeting people I'd never met before, I replied Yes, and he pointed me in the direction of the woman I had just passed -- who turned out to be Deeleea! Yay joined us soon afterwards on the comfy couches.
The couches are so comfy in fact that three people, we assume staff, used them for sleeping. Two men in particular caught more than 40 winks, and a woman grabbed a power nap before returning.
The conversation flowed in a variety of directions, and humour was ever-present. I am looking forward to the next one! Thanks Deeleea for organising the meet, and thanks Deeleea and Yay for a great afternoon!
