Thank you all for your prayers and comments -- very much appreciated. I read them before I set off to the Migrant Centre today and was greatly comforted. Thank you.

I spoke to my mentor teacher who put my mind at rest about a few things. We would see how today went and see if I need to take a break or be given some more time before I am observed by someone from the uni. Before I began my lesson [on ordinal numbers for dates], my stomach was churning and my mind was turning over [depression seems to have the effect on me of an over-active mind: the disasters which I can come up with defy explanation!] and I felt as if I was going to be sick...but as soon as I started I felt alright. Apart from an atrocious whiteboard layout ;-), I was told the lesson went well and I'm ready for my observation on Monday.

I'm feeling a bit more confident, though I know the depression may get to me during the week. I'm taking tomorrow off and going to Taronga Zoo with my cousin and her kids, which should be a good day out. We're going to catch the Rivercat to the City and then a ferry to the zoo. It should be a fun day!

Thanks again for your prayers. They greatly assisted me today.
