A truly wondrous 5 days: I felt, particularly when in Akaroa, as if I were a million miles from anywhere and everywhere. Bliss.

I arrived in Akaroa to a stunning sunset, and then awoke to find green hills surrounding the town. The weather turned, though I made the most of a pleasant day indoors, and awoke Sunday to find the top of the hills were now white with snow. Christchurch is truly a beautiful city, with a beautiful cathedral, a large Botanical Gardens, and plenty to see and do -- even if it is just wandering around.
