Due to me having lectures and taking a conversation class at the uni, I've had Wednesdays off work this semester. These may be finished, but I've got today off to try and do some more work on my final assignment, which is due Monday.
The assignment is a folder for my Practicum, containing all manner of observations, notes, my thoughts and feelings, comments from my mentor teacher, and anything else I may want to add [such as the photos of my final day]. Despite the fact I love writing, I'm finding it a bit hard to complete this. Perhaps it's because it is the "final assignment". I keep checking back on various wib- and weblogs to see if anything new has been added! The washing basket is empty: the clothes are dancing merrily in the wind on the clothesline. Anything to avoid the assignment.
Yesterday was quite a busy day at work with a number of reports to run and several problems [no internet; no connection between another office down the road and ours; a very slow system] to try and get sorted. Plenty of time spent on the phone. And I also managed to get an Access database I'm developing for the Call Centre to collapse in a heap and throw up its hands -- I think I may be overtaxing the poor thing [or else, most likely, it's my poor coding!] At 6pm I threw it in and will look at it again tomorrow.
