Pentecost Prayers

After our Divine Liturgy, we had the Kneeling Prayers: so-called because they are said while we are on our knees. Praying on bended knee may not sound too strange to many of you, but it is particularly significant for us Orthodox, as we do not kneel on Sundays during prayer.

We also had two wonderful occasions: the servant of God Peter was Chrismated: God grant him many years!; and the handmaid of God Helen was welcomed back to Church with her newly-born son Nathaniel: God grant them many years. Two joyful occasions.

Some sad news: I found out our priest has decided to leave the Archdiocese due to several reasons. I believe a new priest has been assigned, but I am not sure as to timeframes. Prayers appreciated.
