With the joyful celebration yesterday of all the faithful who have gone before us still ringing in my ears, I eagerly looked to see who was commemorated in the Church calendar today. From today, each day I shall try to read a short summary of the life of at least one Saint, through the Orthodox Church in America's site. Arising a bit earlier today, I managed to get two in before I need to leave for work. It is a true blessing not only to reflect on their life which they set aside for God, but also to see the diversity in whom God calls.
