30 mins after it was released here [09:30] I had my copy. I went for the "Adult" dustjacket.
The bookstore nearest to me had quite a reasonable queue snaking out from the store. Inside, someone was dressed up as a witch and a cellist was playing along to the music from the movies.
Time for some lunch, and then I'll start reading. I think I'll take it a bit slower than the last one. Last time I locked myself away in my room and read the whole thing in one day -- taking breaks only to grab some food or drink to keep me going. But I very well may repeat that. I have the chocolate from my WISE package and a tub of Connoisseur Café Grande ice-cream [Grand Marnier sauce and chocolate coated almonds...yum!] which should keep me going for a good few hours! ;-)
