Spanish Dinner [and an Engagement!]

No, not mine. ;-)
Dinner at Don Quixote last night. Four of us [my friend over from England for his visa and two friends (A and F)] shared a Paella Valenciana [rice dish cooked with chicken, prawns, mussels, scallops and blue swimmer crab] for three people -- and didn't finish it. Yum! Yum! Yum! We also had some delicious bread and sautéed vegetables in olive oil.
But by far the best part of the evening was hearing that A & F are now engaged! Wonderful news. He proposed to her several weeks back, and she said "Yes", but they were waiting to tell me in person. Hurrah!
After hearing this and congratulating them, a little while later I said I needed to go to the toilet. I made my way there, but on the way grabbed our waiter and asked him for a bottle of Moët & Chandon. They were quite surprised when it was delivered. As was I: I found out F doesn't really drink! Oh well: he, as well as my friend back from England who doesn't drink [in fact, he even went to The Hunter Valley and didn't drink! Sacrilege!], had a sip at least. A and I finished it off.
An absolutely fantastic evening.
