Thought id add a quick one in at the end of May just so i dont start off June by going.... " i cant believe i havnt posted in weeks again"
It wont however stop me from posting the fact that from tomorrow i can officially say....
"HOORAH I GET MARRIED THIS MONTH"
As you can guess i really cant wait now. Its really bizarre i dont actually feel stressed about the wedding. My main stresses at the moment is getting the house how we want it to look. Obviously we cant do everything straight away and to be honest i dont want to, but it would be nice to feel like the main rooms are looking how we would like them to. We have nearly finshed the main bedroom. At present as its already JTs house he currently sleeps in the attic room but we will be using one of the rooms on the first floor as it seems daft using all 3 floors if we dont need to ( main real reason is i dont want to have to keep walking up and down the stairs in the night if i need a wee, but i havnt said that ;-D ) The room is looking really lovely and very grown up.
The other rooms we hope to get sorted this year is the study. We are putting in new bookcases, painting the walls and putting up some wooden blinds. In the summer we are swapping the kitchen around. Still using the same units but putting them in a different part of the kitchen as its been made a bit bigger. Its all very exiting. I think that will be more than enough to be getting on with. Plus it means we appreciate more what we have done and then over the years only bits of the house will need redecorating at a time. Its all a very expensive business, so we feel so priviliged and blessed for what we are able to achieve this year and also pleased with the things we have been able to get at a really bargain. I love bargains :-D
Last weekend JT had his stag weekend and i had my first of two hen nights. I did want to be able to get everyone together at the same time but i didnt think it was going to work, so last friday night some friends from here came round to JTs house and we had a PJs party, ate pizza and watched a movie. JT was so lovely, before he left he brought me some flowers, some other things for the evening and even made up 100s of stickers with pics of me on them. They were brilliant. He even stuck them on wine glasses and i had a larger glass with a pic of him on it. The girls then sorted me out a wedding bag. As i was in hospital during the marriage prep week talking about SEX they got me a goody bag of things that was spoken about on that chat. It was basically a bunch of things that people had said they all wished they took on their honeymoon. I wont go into details on here what was in the bag but i think you can all guess ;-) It was brilliant.
It was such a lovely evening and wouldnt have done any of it differently.
On the saturday my friend Justine came up till the sunday. She cant be my bridesmaid now as she will be heavily pregnant but she said she wanted to still do all the other stuff, so we had a very girly weekend of shopping, coffeeshops and chatting. It was really nice spending time with her. She is even sorting out my second hen night which is back at my parents this weekend. We are all going out for a nice meal in town which im really looking forward to. JT is staying at home and will be having a weekend of DIY and no doubt having a nice weekend with the lads.
