and yet we still did lol. JT got me the new Jack Johnson cd and i got JT some Pants with love hearts on them from GAP hee hee.
After work on valentines day i had to take my driving theory test again. I passed which is excellent news yayyyyy. I got home earlier than i thought so had to keep away from the kitchen while JT was cooking our special meal. He did home made carrot and parsnip soup. Then we had chicken strogganof with veggies and potato. We then had some ben & jerrys choc frozen yogurt with some marshmellows etc on the top. We had some champagne for during the meal and then finished it off with a hot chocolate. We had the special icecream bowls as a christmas pressie off one of my friends so it was really nice to use them.
On thursday we were going out for a meal by where we live. It was a really nice meal apart from the error that when i said i wanted to book at table for 7. They took it that i meant a table for 7 people even though he put it in the 7pm slot in the diary and also wrote me down as being a mr?????? The waiter then decided to come back up to the table and say that on the phone they would have asked for how many people. I then said. Well actually i didnt phone i came in to book and no one asked me. I decided not to mention that it was this waiter who placed the order. After this though i think he realised he was a bit rude and the service then was really good and the food was lovely although a bit expensive. We decided at the end not to give a tip. i felt a bit guilty but they had taken enough off us all ready.
On friday we were having about 8 friends from work for a meal. I did the starter etc and Pete did the main course of parmasan chicken. It was really nice and a really relaxing evening. The 7 bottles of wine and bottle of baileys didnt help with that at all honest ;-)
Saturday i was able to have a great lie in which was great. JT was helping a friend with a computer problem. I got up about 11.45 and once i had brekkie i got on with the mountain of ironing. When JT got back we had lunch and then popped to get our informal wedding pics reprinted for the album. We still have them all over the dining room table. Its going to be a huge task.
On sunday morning we went to church and then went along to Cluster lunch. Im really enjoying being involved in this cluster. They really are great and i love that we have joined their group.
After cluster lunch we did a bit of driving practice and then was home for an hour before going to J & Es for tea. We got home about 9ish so we could have a bit of time relaxing before bed.
Today its back to work and then badminton after work.
