September has been a busy month. Jono finished leading the youth team that he has had for about 6 years. They are all now off to Uni so its come to a natural end. As a group Jono took them away for the weekend and so a couple of weeks ago they went to a camping barn in whitby. As Jono was going to be away for a few day i thought it was a great opportunity to visit my parents for the weekend. It was really good and i really enjoyed spending lots of time with them.
I also met up with a couple of friends on the friday lunchtime which was really nice plus i got to see their babies who are changing everytime i see them.
On the saturday morning i took my nephew to the cinema and then for pizza. Again he is growing everytime i see him and getting more and more gorgeous as he gets older.
The weekend as a whole was very relaxing and also really really nice. It was good to see Jono again on the sunday night though and we both got back round about the same time. That was the longest i have drove on my own aswell so really proud of myself. (still havnt been on a motorway yet though lol)
Work is going well and ive been given a new job title 'Complaints Co ordinator for the Directors Office' It sounds a lot more glam than it actually is. Infact since given the title no more extra work as come in for me to actually use it, but alas its on the bottom of my emails anyway lol.
We had a staff night out last night. It was really good. I really enjoyed it and it seemed that everyone else did to. I tried not to drink too much as i havnt properly drank for ages. I ended up having just 3 glasses of wine in the restaurant and a double baileys in the pub after. I was suprised i still felt reletevely (spell) sober. Jono picked me up at 11.30. I could have happily stayed out longer but my eyes and feet were telling me otherwise so it was a wise move to go when i did.
The garden is nearly finished which is really good. The conservitory should be going up a week on monday. The only thing we need to sort out now is getting a kitchen at a decent price but also one that looks fantastic. Not an easy feat and it may take till christmas for everything to be finished :-( This has been goin on since June now and as much as i love our camping stove and combi microwave im starting to need a proper kitchen. It was wonderful the other week when we finally got hot water downstairs again. Granted we still have the dishwasher set up but there are somethings that cant go in there so everytime we needed hot water, we had to boil the kettle.
The rest of the house is starting to get back to normal aswell. Every room has been effected with the changes and now im making my way round wiping the brick dust/general dust off everything. I have also been painting and varnishing doors which have needed to be done for ages.
There is still a lot of things we need to do on the house, but even now its beautiful and we feel so blessed that this is our home.
Health wise things are getting a bit better. I had a couple of day where i had some really bad anxiety/panic attacks. One was the morning i was going to my parents and another one the second night. I was really glad my mom was there as she new exactly what to do and really helped me. In a wierd way having them has helped me in the long run. I know that probably sounds really bizarre but it made it definate that that is one of the reasons why ive been getting pain. It seems to have changed my mind set. Im still having moments when im getting anxious but im able to deal with it better and im feeling really positive about stuff again. Im learning to take things more easily and enjoying the little things in life aswell as the big things. Im trying not to worry what the future may hold and enjoying now. Im feeling more able that God is in control and that i can just hand things over to him to deal with, which is brilliant and a huge relief.
Other news. Ive been to the cinema to watch Little Miss Sunshine. A fantastic film which i realy enjoyed. Im still going swimming but im still really slow at it lol. I sang at a wedding at the start of the month. My choir leader was getting married and so the choir did a couple of songs in the service. The wedding was lovely, but the 2 hours worth of speeches dragged on a touch eek. Ive lost another half a stone so have finally decided to get rid of some of the things in my wardrobe which are just too big for me now yeyyyyy. such a great feeling.
Right i think that is everything i will post again if i remember anything else.
