I thought it was about time i updated my blog as seen as its my day off from work. (booked holiday) i thought i would try and catch up with things again on here.*
This year seems to have flown by really fast. It only feels like 5 mins that we were packing up last years decorations and starting the new year. I also cant believe that my birthday is coming round again in a couple of weeks and i will be the grand age of 32 :-D
I actually quite like my 30s. Its wierd in one way as when i was younger i remember looking at people my age now and thinking they were grown up and mature and i dont always feel that myself. Maybe they felt the same thing aswell.
BEING POORLY- Things on the anxiety front seem to still be not too bad. There have been a couple of days when worry/pain have got to me but i really do feel like things are getting a bit more back to normal. I think i will always worry but its putting it all into context. As always Jono and my parents have been fantastic.
I think one of the biggest tests has been and this may sound bizarre, but i was really pleased when i got a cold last week. It had been one of things i was worried about this year incase it went onto the chest etc. Anyway i finally got a cold last week (still have a bit of it now) and although i felt really cack with it i knew it was just a cold and felt relaxed in that and didnt really worry about any aches or pains. Huge progress. The above may sound bizarre but it is perfectly sane honest lol
CHOIR - Things have been going great with choir. I just really love singing and being able to do that again is amazing. (i believe that being able to sing etc as really been part of my healing) We have done another couple of performances since i last blogged. The first one i even got to do my first solo which was really cool. The second performance we performed in Sheffield city centre. We were one of the acts to open the christmas lights. McFly were the main act so i was very excited. (31 or not i still get very excited by Mcfly) I didnt get to meet them in person but it was fantastic to see them live and we wernt to far away from the stage. They were brilliant live. We didnt get to see loads of the day but Sheffield put on a huge day for everyone. apart from the main stage there were different market stalls on and trapeze folk attached to low hot air balloons and even father christmas were there with real reindeer and there was also the three wise men with donkeys lol. It was really good to see a bit of the real meaning of christmas as part of the celebrations. (the wise men not santa btw)
HOME- Shockingly we are still trying to get the kitchen sorted. Its been such a huge job but we are finally getting there. Jono has some time off this month so it should all be definatly done by Christmas. Jono's parents planted our apple trees on saturday so we should get fruit off them next year which will be wonderful. Anyone coming for tea from that point will surely get apples as some part of the meal. We will be so pleased once its all done and Jono is working so hard to get things sorted and is doing a brilliant job as always.
Right id better get dressed and get things done that i want to today so i dont waste my day off.
