Ive just read through my last post and realised half of what i wrote never ended up actually happening.
We picked up my nephew as planned and drove up to Telford to go iceskating. We were told a few days before when i rang that we wouldnt need to book. I wish we had done though as it was packed so we wernt able to go skating. We decided to pop next door and go bowling instead. I was gutted that we couldnt skate, one of the reasons was because we had just ate loads of pizza and i was hoping to burn some of it off attempting to navigate the ice rink. Anyway we ended up booking the bowling and thought as we had to wait for an hour we would have a walk down to the crazy golf. We got all the way down there to find that it was closed due to the weather, to we headed off to see if we could get a game of ice hockey in the arcade and then a quick game of pool. We couldnt play pool earlier as most of the tables were faulty and the two that were working had people on them. Anyway when we got back we were able to play both and we then bowled.
All in all it was a good day apart from actually trying to find something that was open or working.
We then headed back to my parents and then on the sunday we flew to Spain. I was really nervous right up to the point of actually getting on the plane. Once i was in my seat i felt really peaceful and the flight was really good. I really felt that God was looking after me on that flight. Spain was busy but wonderful and before we knew it, it was time to come home again. The flight home was absolutly awful. Even Jono thought it was bad and he doesnt mind flying at all. For most of the journey there was turbelance (spell) and i had a woman next to me who kept saying she needed a drink as she wasnt going to make it home alive. Not the most cheering of company. Again though although i was scared i didnt really get anxious. I think i just realised that there was nothing i could do apart from sit there and look forward to being back on the ground.
The next day i spoke to my friend who i was meeting up with and she was convinced we were meeting up on the sunday not the saturday. They wernt free for the whole of saturday so we ended up just meeting up for lunch in a pub on the way home. It was a really nice place and it was good to catch up with them.
