Well as i thought mondays shift was a long one. i did just under 10hours. was begining to feel the start of a cold and was tired so i didnt make it to girls group. Today i have a fully operating cold. Sore runny nose, achy bones and belly, tired eyes, but apart from that i feel great ;-)
District manager was due into store today, he still hadnt arrived by 4.10pm so decided once i handed over the shift to evening person i was going home. As its half term this week my youth club wasnt on so i was looking forward to an evening of relaxing and feeling sorry for myself in my poorly state. Mom decided she fancied going shopping so we all went off to the shop in the hope of finding some new bedding. Why is it that no one sells king size flat sheets anymore. ( maybe we shouldnt have been looking in a hardware store) only joking hee hee. We couldnt find what we were looking for but we did end up with 2 new single fitted valances for my bed, a metal colander , a new cover for the ironing board, 2 plates to put plant pots on, a new mop and a grow bag. So the trip wasnt wasted lol. Before heading home we decided to see if the 24 hour huge asda had king size flat sheets for sale. They didnt but decided to buy a bit of a feast for tea instead. They sell whole cooked chickens for £1.60 can you believe it, what a bargain. So for tea we had chicken, breaded mushrooms, wedges, mexican onion bhagi things, colslaw, potato salad and crusty bread. It was very nice but not great for the diet.
Tomorrow is my day off. I had planned to join a gym which is by the hospital. I have to go to the hospital for 2.30 so thought i could go for my induction at 1.30 and just walk across to the hospital in plenty of time. I then remembered i have to drink 6 large glasses of water an hour before i go so thought best not to go to gym first. I wasnt put off though and have booked a later appoinment at the gym. After that im meeting a friend in town and i will get to see her new house and new dog which should be good. so nite all xx
