As thought, i had a great weekend up north. Saturday i met three people off ship of fools. After a getting a taxi to Wolverhampton, then a train to Manchester, then Leeds, then Darlington. I finally arrived 5 hours later to my destination. It was a lovely quiet evening of chat, food and wine infront of a real fire. Wonderful. Sunday morning we went to church, then it was a mad rush to get back to Darlington so i could get my train back to Leeds. Unfortunatly i just missed the train, but i was able to get one straight away to York and then jump on one that took me to Leeds. So i was only 30mins late in meeting another shipmate. We had lunch and a drink in town. Was slightly disturbed that i left the table for 30secs and they took my half drunken double archers and lemonade away :( . they did give me another drink though so that was ok. We had planned to go bowling but time was short so we just went back to his to relax and have some tea. The pasta bolognaise was lovely but as we were full from lunch we only managed to eat half of it. Still it meant he had his tea already sorted for the next 2 days lol. After getting a train to Liverpool then Wolverhapton my dad picked me up from the station and i got home at about 11.45pm. completely shattered but it was well worth it.
I was back at work monday morning. Then it was girls group in the evening. Was a good night, we actually managed to have a study, rather than just sit and chat. Although that is good also. Sometimes that evening is the only time we get to see eachother so its good to catch up on everyones news.
I worked the day shift again today. Not much to report although a lady came into the shop and said she had a present for me, put a red rose on the counter and left. Was nice but shame it wasnt off a man :-). oh well. After work i finally made it to the gym, i wasnt able to go last week as too busy. I got home about 7ish and had a nice bath and have just relaxed. Anyway its late now so im going to bed. nite xx
