ok i admit it, every since i was a teenager i have loved magazines. It all started when the older girl who used to live next door gave me her old copies of 'blue jeans' and jackie annuals. In the mid 80s i was the proud owner of the issues from 1978 and 1979 and i loved them. I felt very grown up. I loved the photo stories and everything, those pictures of donny osmund and keith chegwin yum, hee hee. Following that i used to get my own weekly or monthly magazines and at one point i used to get about 6 arrive through the letter box. They included 'smash hits', 'number 1','just seventeen' etc. I was even the proud owner of all 40 issues of a teen mag called 'princess' which suddenly stopped printing and even to this day, im gutted that i dont know what happened in some of the photo stories. <blush>. I used to love it when you got free gifts in these magazines and as imbarrassing as it is, i still love buying magazines and im always tempted to buy one if there is a free gift of some sort. The amount of free books and eyeshadows and bags i have got over the years is amazing. Yesturday after work i was doing a bit of shopping in town and i popped into tesco's to get some ciggies and there before me on the counter i saw a magazine which was giving away a free bag. My eyes were instantly drawn to it. The magazines i usually buy now are more grown up, and i am very proud of my free bag from 'cosmo' or my free book from 'she'

This free bag however was in a teen mag called 'sugar' and i have to say the temptation got the better of me. So now at 28 along with my purchase of ciggies i am the proud owner of a teen mag. It was actually a quite good read and hoorah i have my new free bag, which i may take on holiday to put my toiletries in it.

Anyway onto other things. Today at work i have to recruit some new staff and will be interviewing people for the first time ever. I have an interview and 3pm,4pm,5pm,6pm and 7pm. Then tomorrow i have one at 2pm and another at 4pm. Its very scary as i havnt done it before, but i hope that i can come accross as confident and friendly with them. I have to be at work at 2.30 so it will give me a bit of time to go through the questions i have to give them and i will also get the kettle on ready so we can have a cuppa while we chat. I do hope i manage to pick the right people for the job. Anyway thats all for now
