Late thursday night i watched a movie with dad. We watched wuthering heights. For years i havnt wanted to watch it as i thought it was just about some folks stuck on some moors, (maybe i had the video to a Kate Bush song stuck in my mind) Anyway we watched it, and i actually thought it was really good. Friday i was working the 2.30-10.30 shift. Whenever we serve a customer now, we have a stupid 9 point process that we have to ask everyone. The first question is " did you find everything you were looking for today?" Tonight i got the reply NO. i then asked what had he been looking for and i got the reply " because its crap". I then asked why and his reply was " because its always been crap" I was about to ask what the problem was, but he cut me short by telling me to just get on with scanning his films so he could get out the shop. It does make me wonder why he is a frequent visitor to the store if he finds it all so crap. lol
Two lovely things did happen though. 1- i have found out that i am able to buy a Playstation 2 for only £80. I so want one and it will mean that i also will have a dvd player also. 2- i really hope this doesnt sound really big headed or showey offy, but i was totally gobsmacked that someone actually thought these things about me. Basically I was chatting to a member of staff and she said that she thought that i was really clever and that i really knew what i was doing with stuff. When i laughed and said "really?" she said " yeh, you always seem to know about stuff and you have a air of sophistication about you when you do it" I really was totally shocked and it was a really nice thing to be told. Especially as most of the time i feel like a dippy idiot who is a bit clumsy and gets most things wrong.
