This usually happens atleast once a week. Most memerable one is, the one time work came up with the idea that every time we answered the phone we had to mention the current offer. I will miss out the company, but im sure you all know who it is anyway :-)
" Thankyou for calling B********R, just to inform you of our current offer of, Pop, Popcorn and any Rental for £4.99, How may i help you?" As you can see it was a bit of a mouthful, everytime you answered the phone. So we used to try and say it as quick as possible. The only problem was, is that i used to get a little tongue twisted and on a couple of occasions i asked customers if they wanted " Cock and Popcorn" or "Pop and Cockporn" Very Very embarrassing indead.
Anyway on to today. Its not as bad as that one, but it is still quite cringe worthy. The staff at work are always saying that i am constantly humming or singing. Not loud but just enough for them to hear it and they find it all rather amusing. Most of the time i dont know that im doing it. Today i had to catch the bus to work. Waiting at the bus stop was freezing cold, and as i was alone i thought i would quietly sing a little bit. It helps keep me warm. Anyway i was singing a Matt Redman song... " Ive got a love song in my heart. It is for you Lord my God". The plan was working and i was getting warmer. I got to the La La La La bit and happened to turn round and found that there was someone standing behind me <blush> She gave me a knowing look and started smirking. I gave a nervous giggle then looked away, mortified. The staff at work thought it was hilarious.
