What a wonderful but tiring weekend i have had. Saturday day i had to work, but i was able to make the meal at the brum meet on the evening. I thought to myself that as it was saturday night i would make the effort and i even wore heels ( shock horror ) :-)

There was atleast 20 of us, and although i didnt get to chat to everyone, it was lovely to catch up with folk and meet some new people. That night a few of us stayed over in Brum. I got brought some chocolate from the meet in the day. When we got back to the house there had been a huge bottle of baileys brought by the lad who's house we were staying at. I think we finally got to bed about 3am ish, the bonus being that the clocks went back that evening so we got an extra hour in bed. We spent the wee small hours, chatting, drinking, laughing and i learnt to play poker. The following morning we went out for brekkie then i got a lift home as i had to be in work on the sunday at 3pm. It was a manic shift and didnt help that someone phoned in sick at the last minute. This particular member of staff keeps doing it. As im in charge at work this week, its my job to sack her. Ive had people walk out of work before, but ive never had to actually sack someone. Im really dreading it.

Wednesday im off out with my nephew. I was thinking of ideas, as you know, if you have read the earlier entries. I thought in the end it was far easier just to ask him. He has decided that he wants to go to the cinema. Unfortunatly he as already seen all the kids films that are on at the moment, so i have booked for us to go to Millenium point in birmingham. There is a IMAX cinema. so we will watch one film on bugs and other on dinosaurs. Inbetween that we will be heading for the Think tank which seems lots of fun and there is loads of hands on stuff for us both to do. For the evening he is staying over at my house. So it will be an evening of arty stuff, LOTR's 2 and most likely a bit of playstation. Im so glad ive got a day off in the week so i can spend some time with him during half term.
