I always think its really funny and brilliant some of the things that kids want to be when they grow up. You get things like an astronaut, cowboy etc I personally wanted to become a famous singer. I still have a folder of songs that i wrote when i was 10. The nearest i have ever got to recording any of my songs was in my GCSE's when i was able to use a couple of my songs in the composition section of the course. I am shamed to admit though, that i did cheat on one section of my music GCSE <blush> We had the choice of either improvisation or site reading. As i cant read music very well i chose improvisation. What we had to do was remember four bars of music. We then had to use those four bars at the start and end of the piece and then make something up inbetween. As i chose my voice as my chosen instrument i thought this was going to be really difficult as it would be easy to go off key or end up with some bizarre tune that wouldnt work very well. Apart from my performance pieces and compositions i had to La La La everything. I came upon a idea ( i wont say it was divine intervention, as it was really just blatent cheating ) I decided to use a song that we sing at church. Yes i know it wrong, but in my defence im not very academic so music was the one subject i knew i could possibly get a good grade in.

So there i was in the exam room. I start with my four bars of music, then i burst into " Come on and celebrate" . I am ashamed to say i got away with it. I assume the examiner wasnt a christian or if he was he didnt let on as. Now 12 years on, its still a story that my friends insist on telling to anyone who hasnt heard it and are willing to listen. That and another story about when i had to sing in a church and forgot the words, so instead of singing " Such love... Pure as the whitest snow" I sang " Such love... Dur dur dur dur dur snow" < blush >

I really must stop sharing so much in my wiblog hee hee.

Anyway back to the point of this entry. I tend to have a need to sidetrack and waffle on, but you will have already noticed that.

I was thinking the other day about jobs that you know are out there, but you never hear of anyone saying that is what they do for a living. For example... Do you know of anyone who actually makes Condoms? or the person who puts 'make up' on dead people? or the person who makes light bulbs? etc etc... you get my point.... hopefully ;-)

I was looking on the BBC homepage and noticed there is a job section, so thought i would have a quick look. I know that i want to work with young people, but there is a tiny part of me that would love a job where i get to dress smart everyday and come up with some amazing idea that gets shown across the country. A friend of mine has the claim to fame that she designed the origional wrapper for the "Time out" chocolate bar. On this job page there are so many fantastic jobs where you can be inputting ideas for TV programs etc. One job caught my eye which i thought was brilliant. It involved being the contestant interviewer for The weakest link. You get to choose who goes on the show and you are also there during the recording of the show. I have tried to get on TV three times now and each time it as failed, which is probably a good thing. 1- i was in the background when they were recording a scene for Biker Grove. 2- i performed on Michael Barrymoors My kind of people ( im so glad that never got shown as it was a rather dodgy performance of 'I will always love you' accompanied by a bontempi organ ) 3-i have tried twice now with some friends to be a contestant on Bargain hunt, but they never got back to us. hee hee

Tomorrow is my day off. I planned to go to the cinema with Jonathan, but i have cancelled and we will go sometime after pay day. So tomorrow i plan to get up, have a long relaxing bath, tidy my room and generally just potter about.

nite all
