I have had one of those days today, where i feel that i havnt fully woke up. I got up about 10.30. Had a cup of tea and ciggie and checked my emails. I then had a mad rush to get showered as i had to pick up my new glasses before work. They couldnt find them at first, but eventually they found them and i got to the bus stop about 11.50am. I was meant to be in work for 12 but as the buses run every 6 minutes i knew i wouldnt be too late. Sods law though that one hadnt turned up for ages. The queue was really long and i didnt think i would get on it, when it finally arrived. I did though and we set off. Another sods law was that another 3 of the same number bus was directly behind it, and followed the first bus for the entire journey. I finally got to work at 12.30 but the boss was ok and i said i would stay till 8.30 to make up for it. I was still really tired so i was planning on not meeting up with friends, but then thought i will just go for an hour to catch up. 3 glasses of wine, lots of laughter and 2 hours later i finally left my friends house. Mel also had the great news of telling me she is now engaged and i got to see the ring. It lovely. They plan to marry in 2005 abroad and then have a huge party when they get back. I was making my way back home. It only takes about 30 seconds to get to my house from Mels moms and i saw my neighbour in the street. He had popped into my house earlier in the day and gave my mom the money for the scanner i was going to take back tomorrow after work. We chatted for a while and he gave me a Bacardi breezer from his fridge. He had been stocking up for christmas and for gifts for his work men. He said he had been looking at the ship website and had clicked on the link for this wiblog. So if your reading this. HI Pete, thanks for the buying the scanner and thanks for the drink :-)
I now should really be in bed as ive got to be at the bus stop at 6.30am so i can get to work for 7am. I also found out today, that apart from getting the sale stuff sorted, we are also having a audit tomorrow. How mean is that? so close to christmas aswell :-(
