Fantastic day Wednesday. My driving lesson went well and then i headed off into Brum. People think because of my accent that i am a Brummie, but where i live is classed as the Black Country. You can get to Brum in the car from my house in about 30mins depending on traffic. However if you catch the bus or buZ as we tend to say it, then it takes alot longer. To get to walsall from my house takes about 20mins and then its another buZ into Brum which takes about 40mins. I could get the train but the buzes are every couple of minutes, so i can already be about 20mins into my journey before the first train arrives.
Anyway tangent over. I get into Brum and head for Rackhams where i am meeting my friend. We then have a quick look in a wonderful shop called 'Past times' For £12 i end up with 2 books (one on vintage clothing and another one called games for the garden) and a minature snooker table. I do buy some bizarre things. lol
We then headed off to have lunch. We went to a place that specialises in natural, healthy, good for you food. I was amazed at how much they gave us and it tasted absolutly fantastic, i will definatly be going again. We were even too full up for pudding.
We then popped into the shop that sells herbs and other natural things for the body and house. When i went into another one of these shops a couple of weeks ago with JT i ended up buying a minature mortar & pestal ( spell) set and also a fantastically small metal colander. He completly took the mic , so when i saw a minature grater i just had to buy it. hee hee
We then headed off to the Bull ring as i wanted to pop into my fave toiletry shop ' Molton Brown' I ended up spending far too much and came away with three shower gels and a body moisteriser. Two of the shower gels were for my mom, so in theory i didnt spend that much. After we had pottered about a couple more shops we ended up being really naughty as we ended up in this fantastic cookie place and had a cookie each.
I then got on my bus back to Brum and then home again.
I then spent another evening revising for my theory test. by about 3am i finally completed all 863 questions. It was well worth it though, as i am so pleased to tell you, I PASSED yeyyyyyyyyyyyyy
My dad had took me to the test centre and waited for me, so once i was done, we then popped to IKEA.
This evening i have been on the computer, and i also got JTs valentines pressie ready. I will tell you what i ended up getting him after saturday, incase he reads this before he arrives here tomorrow evening. I can tell you though, andt im quite impressed with myself as i have made my own wrapping paper. I thought the bags etc in the shops were rather girly, so thought i would use some of my watercolour paper and paint my own design on it. I was going to attempt something that looked a bit more manly, but i didnt think painting pictures of hammers and jigsaws really summed up romance ( i may be wrong though ) anyway i ended up painting something really girly and ive told him, he has got to look suitably impressed when he sees it lol
Anyway tomorrow day i will be doing the weekly shop with dad, helping mom tidy the house and hopefully pop into town. My nephew is also staying over tomorrow night, and he is bringing his PS2 so that should be fun.
