Well it was back to work on monday and as the boss was on holiday from the day before it meant that i have been in charge of the store all week. On the whole its got well, apart from a district manager cock up and 15 huge boxes of dvds got sent to the wrong store, so then then they all had to be transferred to the correct store (us) all at once. I was off on the thursday when they all arrived, but it was horrible for the staff who were on and it also meant that it was manic in store for the rest of the week.
On saturday i was working the day and then i was off to the Leeds meet on 'ship of fools' i didnt get there until after 8pm but it was a good night. The next day me and JT did a bit of shopping on the way back to Sheffield and then went to his church in the evening . I then had my train to catch at 9.50pm. It was a short visit but nice to be able to catch up with folks.
My boss as been back at work since tuesday and apart from having to speak to her about the trainee's and the huge deliveries it all went smooth.
Last week i also rebooked my driving test. Unfortunatly there is a huge waiting list so it means the earliest date ive managed to get is the 15th September. My driving instructor as said there is no point carrying on my lessons at the moment and to just start them up again in August. so thats saved me a bit of cash which is always good. JT as been here since Wednesday night and we have had a lovely relaxing few days. As im now on his insurance ive been doing most of the driving the last couple of days. Im not saying JT is a bit nervous but ive never seen anyone so white and i also think if he keeps trying to break while in the pasenger seat, his foot is going to go straight through the floor. lol. He is very patient actually and very sweet.
He is off home in a bit and i have the night shift at work to do 2.30-10.30 :-(
